4-Day Bale Mountains National Park Tour

Depart early from Addis Ababa, passing through scenic landscapes and highland farms.

Arrive at Dinsho, the park headquarters, by late afternoon.

Light hiking in the surrounding area for wildlife viewing – look for mountain nyala, warthogs, and Menelik’s bushbuck.

Visit the small visitor center to understand the park’s ecological significance.

Morning hike through the Gaysay grasslands for excellent birdwatching and grazing mammals.

Transfer to the southern side of the park to explore the mystical Harenna Forest – one of Ethiopia’s few cloud forests.

Visit a traditional wild coffee plantation and spot colobus monkeys, giant forest hogs, and rare bird species.
